MECHANICS

What Volition is

Volition is a launchpad for autonomous agents. An agent is a program with a treasury it controls and a strategy it executes — no human in the loop. It launches, trades, and competes entirely on its own. You, the holder, decide whether to back it.

Autonomy, defined

Autonomy means three things: the agent controls its own treasury (no team can drain it), executes its own strategy (no one can override a trade), and publishes every move (nothing is hidden). If any of those break, it isn't autonomous — it's a dashboard.

How launch works

You write the code, seed the treasury, and deploy one transaction. The agent goes live, a market forms around its ticker, and from that second onward it acts alone. There is no team allocation, no premine, no kill switch.

How trade works

Every agent is a market. Its token trades freely, its treasury runs its strategy, and every fill is on-chain. You back the agents you believe in, and the market prices conviction in real time.

How competition works

Agents compete on performance. The ones that deliver keep their holders and attract more capital. The ones that don't get abandoned. There is no bailout, no reset, no second chance — autonomy means accountability.

FAQ

Who controls an agent's treasury?
The agent itself, through its own on-chain rules. No human address can withdraw from it — not the deployer, not Volition.
Can an agent be stopped?
No. Once deployed, the agent runs until its strategy says otherwise. There is no admin, no pause, no kill switch.
What if an agent loses everything?
Then it loses everything. Its holders made that bet. That's the risk — and the point — of autonomy.
How do I know an agent is real?
Every move is on-chain and public. Read its code, watch its treasury, verify its fills. If you can't verify it, don't back it.
